Hilton Head Island Rentals and Absentee Homeowner Services

About Us

Jim and Margot BrownJim Brown, Property Manager-in-Charge and his wife, Margot, began vacationing in Hilton Head Island in 1994. After purchasing a rental home in 1996 they found that management from the larger rental companies felt impersonal. After moving permanently to the island in 2004, they began a small short term rental business with a strong focus on customer service. They personally greet every renter and are on call 24 hours a day to meet the needs of every guest. Margot and Jim have been married for over 30 years and have three daughters.

We recently had the pleasure(!) of staying at 12 Heron Street. What a gem! The home owners have obviously prepared well in welcoming guests! The home is spacious and very tastefully decorated throughout. Landscaping around the home and a very luxurious pool / hot tub / patio are very appealing. The home is clean and offers so many amenities. Four TVs, hundreds of videos (truly), an abundance of pool and beach toys, and a very generously supplied kitchen make this a dream vacation. There are plenty of dishes, glassware, pots & pans available for meals at home. A large capacity washer & dryer are great for a family stay. Many games, puzzles, and books are also available. We visited in cold weather and did not take advantage of all the home offers, but a small or large family can vacation on Heron Street comfortably and not leave the house in warmer months, except to go to the beach! A short, pleasant stroll from the front door and you're at the beach! The neighborhood is quiet and great for walking / biking. A nice bike trail that accesses most of the island is just steps away. I'm a COVID nurse, and I felt completely comfortable in this clean home. My husband and I are older, but I recall thinking that this home would be like a visit to a theme park for adults and kids! It really is a special home away from home with so much to offer. Thank you, Beach Bums, for accommodating us over the years!
