One of the standout features of this home is its unbeatable location. Unlike many other villas in the complex, you're just a two-minute walk to the beach parking lot, and just a couple more minutes until your toes are in the sand. You’ll also appreciate the peaceful setting — located away from the pool area, it’s much quieter in the evenings, making it easy to wind down after a fun-filled day.

Inside, the villa offers ground-floor access — no stairs or elevators to navigate with coolers, chairs, or beach gear. The open living and dining area is flooded with natural light thanks to large side windows unique to end units. Step out onto the spacious back and side patio, perfect for sunbathing in the afternoon or relaxing in the shade while the kids nap. There's also a private front patio with a gas grill, ideal for easy lunches, storing bikes, or parking your beach buggy.

Upstairs, all three bedrooms comfortably sleep up to eight guests, while a pull-out sleeper in the living room offers additional sleeping space. With the bedrooms upstairs, the open downstairs layout makes entertaining easy without disturbing anyone who's headed to bed early.

The beach nearby is one of Hilton Head’s best, complete with restrooms, showers, and lifeguards on duty from mid-March through September. It’s perfect for full beach days and peaceful sunrise or sunset strolls. If you prefer pool time, the large shaded community pool is just a short walk away and includes restrooms for your convenience.

Loved the short drives to so many things to do but the home still felt private and quiet. The house is very well insulated and stayed cool even with the high heat and humidity outside. Short walk to beach is accurate. The beach is beautiful! Enjoyed the bar/restaurant across the street. I was told by the owner the pool would be closed but it was being cleaned so the kids went in !! They loved it! Very convenient to everything on the island. Loved it!

Overall, the condo was very well-suited for four of us. The downstairs is very large and open, with a huge TV and two doors that open up to the patio. The kitchen is also very well stocked with all plates, pots, pans, utensils, and coffee makers - pretty much everything you would need. And the location was great - a very easy walk to the beach. I also enjoyed how quiet it was. All communication with ownership was prompt and courteous. I feel like there were some easy updates that could be made cosmetically speaking but nothing that prevented us from enjoying all that the condo had to offer.

The bedrooms are laid out nicely upstairs, with a main bath and a ensuite which worked very nicely. The Folly Field public beach access closed Sept 11 for rebuilding work until November 17 which was a disappointment as the next nearest beach accesses are about 15 minutes walk or a 3 minute drive - Islanders Beach or Bradley Beach or Burke's beach. Bradley Beach parking was free while we were there(parking meter was out of order), Islander was $1/hr (quarters only). The kitchen was nice - we cooked lots of our own food. Walmart or Publix are just 10 minutes away. It was a quiet place to stay, and we had a lovely time. We'd come back again!

Our stay at 44 A Stones Throw was fabulous! Plenty of room for my husband, myself, out 4 adult children and 1 DIL. Places to be together, and places for privacy. 2 1/2 baths make all the difference in the world! 4 TV’s are nice but we mostly just watched SHARK WEEK together. (crazy you know). Mostly we enjoyed the big dining room table with 8 chairs to eat together and play games at night. The beds are comfy and the bath towels plentiful. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you’ll need to cook for your whole family. Plenty of plates/bowls and silverware. Botha drop and Keurig coffee maker. The walk to the beach is easy- even for my husband who had a knee replacement 5 mos ago. The wagon provided makes it easy to take all your supplies for a day of sunning and swimming. The beach itself is lovely with a bath house on the board walk to refill waters, rinse off, or use BR. Lifeguards watch the waters for any danger. (It is an ocean remember!) I highly recommend this condo!

We all really enjoyed our stay in unit 44. It was immaculately clean. There were 7 of us and we had plenty of room. Our meeting was held in the tennis resort right across the street. The kids 13, 9, and 5 didn't mind the walk to the beach and thoroughly enjoyed the ocean. There was plenty of towels, dishes pots and pans, even games and beach toys. We would love to stay again next year. This was a good value for our money.

We were pleased with it. Beach is easily reached with the walking/bike path and isn't too far to haul all of our stuff. Having the use of the extra cart and chairs was helpful as well.
